What you do: |
Get out all the food, dishes, & utensils the meal
needs. Prepare the food to be
cooked. Choose a grace and teach it
to the troop |
For fire, gather wood, fill bucket w/ water, build, light,
maintain fire with adults. For stove, Set up, turn on, & light stove w/ adults. |
Cook the food on the fire or stove. Decide when the food is done & tell group. Help serve meal. |
Set up dish-washing stations (warm & soapy, clean,
bleach). Wash all troop dishes and
leader’s dishes. Clean food
area. Put away all dishes, food, etc. |
Put together a flag ceremony with all patrol members
involved. Perform flag ceremony for
everyone before meal. |
Look around the entire campsite/area & pick up all trash
(throw away in troop trash bag not your own). If troop trash is full, it is night, or we’ve had a big meal,
tie off bag & deposit it in trashcan. |

Fire: charcoal, matches, firestarter, grill, bucket. Stove: Stove, propane, matches, bucket |
Gloves, utensils for food: tongs, spatula, spoon, etc., recipe

Dish-washing bins, Soap, warm & cold water, bleach, sponge |
Book w/ cere-monies, flag, flagpole |
